Sweets with Your Sweetheart at the CAF Celebrate Valentine’s Day with the CAF Airpower Museum at the Sweets with Your Sweetheart, Feb. 14, from 8 to 10p.m. This sweet event supports “Save the Girls,” a project to preserve, restore and display the world’s largest collection of original World War II aircraft Nose Art®.After dinner at your favorite spot in Midland/Odessa, bring your sweetheart out to the CAF Airpower Museum for a decadent treat full of romance and history. Couples are invited to enjoy great desserts, coffee and wine, before making their way to the Nose Art Gallery for a keepsake portrait! After having their photo taken, guests can enjoy the museum’s great exhibits on a self-guided tour through the World War II history gallery! Guests are also invited to bid on the Silent Flight Auction including an Evening Champagne Flight for two in an authentic World War II era Twin Beach 18 or a flight for one in a Stearman!*World War II is one of the most romantic eras in American history and the CAF Airpower Museum is dedicated to telling the complete story.
